Job summary

Mathnasium LLC. in West Linn, Oregon is seeking passionate Math Instructors/Tutors to inspire K-12 students with engaging math instruction. You'll work in a fun, supportive environment, providing personalized teaching methods to help students thrive.

As a Math Instructor/Tutor, you'll assess students' progress, work collaboratively with colleagues, and be equipped with all necessary materials for effective teaching. This part-time role offers compensation ranging from $16.30 to $18.30 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method.

What you will do as a Math Instructor / Tutor

• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
