Job summary

Mathnasium in Phoenix, Arizona, is looking for part-time educators to teach math to students in grades 2-12. You will have the opportunity to significantly impact students' lives while working in a supportive and encouraging environment.

This role allows for flexible scheduling during after-school hours, providing a fun atmosphere while delivering effective instruction. Applicants must be passionate about math and possess strong interpersonal skills, and will be required to complete a math literacy test.

Responsibilities

Work Schedule:

• Part‑time position
• Monday–Thursday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Sunday: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Flexible scheduling based on availability and center needs

Job Responsibilities:

• Teach/tutor in‑center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
