Job summary

Mathnasium is looking for a Math Instructor / Tutor in West Linn, Oregon. As part of a passionate team, you will transform the lives of K-12 students through engaging math instruction both in-center and online.

You'll enjoy a supportive work culture with opportunities for growth and training. The compensation ranges from $16.30 to $18.30 per hour, consistent part-time hours are available after school and on weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong passion for teaching math and engaging with K-12 students.
• Ability to effectively assess students' learning progress.
• Demonstrated math competency through Algebra I.

Responsibilities

• Teach students in-center and online using the Mathnasium Method.
• Work collaboratively with teammates to deliver individualized instruction.
• Assess and monitor students’ learning progress during sessions.

What you will do as a Math Instructor / Tutor:

• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes

Compensation: $16.30 - $18.30 per hour
