Job summary

Mathnasium is seeking part-time instructors to teach and tutor students in a fun, supportive environment. As an instructor, you will leverage the Mathnasium Method to deliver individualized instruction, ensuring students understand and master mathematical concepts.

This position offers flexible hours, great opportunities for advancement, and continuous training in effective teaching methodologies. If you are passionate about math and making a difference in students' lives, we want to meet you!

Qualifications

• Passion for math and enthusiasm for teaching students.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage with students effectively.
• Demonstrated math competency through at least Algebra I.

Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in-center, online, or via hybrid delivery.
• Work collaboratively with team members for individualized instruction.
• Assess students’ learning progress during sessions.
• Become proficient in digital educational materials.
• Support a safe and professional learning environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Teach/tutor in‑center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
