Job summary

Mathnasium of Denville is seeking a friendly Math Instructor to teach in-center, online, or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method. You will help students in 2nd–12th grade build math confidence and mastery.

Responsibilities include tutoring, assessing progress, collaborating with teammates, and maintaining a safe, supportive learning environment with the provided curriculum. Flexible part-time hours after school and on weekends are available.

Qualifications

• Must have passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Strong math competency through Algebra I.
• Ability to balance multiple ongoing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices.
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment.
