Job summary

Mathnasium Bothell is hiring part-time instructors to teach math to K-12 students using the Mathnasium Method. You’ll tutor in-center, online, or hybrid and help students gain confidence.

We offer flexible after-school hours (Mon-Thu 3:30-7:30 PM) and weekend shifts, training, and a supportive culture with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Exceptional math competency - Geometry, Calculus, Trigonometry
• Ability to balance various ongoing tasks

Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor in-center, online, or hybrid using the Mathnasium Method and materials.
• Collaborate with teammates to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess student progress and engagement during sessions.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
• Maintain a safe, professional learning environment

Job Responsibilities:

• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
