Responsibilities

• Provide targeted math intervention and skill-building in pull-out resource classes, focusing on foundational numeracy, problem solving, and grade-level readiness.
• Deliver inclusion math support through co-teaching, modeling, scaffolding, and differentiated instruction in general education math classrooms.
• Use data-driven instructional strategies, manipulatives, and evidence-based math practices to meet the needs of students with disabilities.
• Support students in developing math fluency, reasoning, and confidence in math problem-solving tasks.
• Develop and implement IEPs with math-specific goals and accommodations.
• Monitor student progress using math assessments, progress-monitoring tools, and classroom data.
• Adjust instruction and services based on ongoing analysis of academic performance.
• Collaborate with families, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure understanding of student math needs and progress.
• Work closely with general education math teachers to modify assignments, assessments, and pacing guides.
• Co-plan math lessons, accommodations, and interventions with the math team.
• Communicate regularly with staff and families regarding student achievements and needed supports.
• Participate in professional development related to special education, math instruction, and inclusive practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation, uphold confidentiality, and follow district policies.
