Job summary

Acceleration Academies is seeking a MathContent Coach to serve as the primary instructional resource for Graduation Candidates. You will deliver competency-based content, support personalized learning, and guide students toward graduation and post-secondary success, within a collaborative team.

The role is part of a new academy launch for the upcoming academic year, with responsibilities including enrollment support, learning plan development, and ongoing assessment to close gaps and accelerate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Florida 6-12 Mathematics teaching certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience (high school preferred).
• Strong communication, time management, instructional planning, collaboration skills.
• Passion for helping at-risk youth succeed academically and personally.

Responsibilities

• Support new GC enrollment through recruitment and engagement efforts.
• Assist with the development of Personalized Learning Plans for GCs.
• Serve as an advisor for assigned GCs by maintaining communication with learners and their support team.
• Plan and deliver content-area instruction in both individual and small group settings.
• Monitor GC academic progress toward course completion and mastery using formative and summative assessments.
• Analyze and use academic data to inform instruction and improve outcomes.
• Provide remediation and enrichment opportunities to address learning gaps and accelerate success.
• Participate in professional development, data meetings, and school/community events.
• Collaborate with the GC support team to develop personalized learning pathways, transition strategies, and incentive plans.
• Represent the academy in community events and contribute to academy-wide initiatives.
• Perform other responsibilities as needed to support the academy’s mission.
