Job summary

Mathnasium of Crystal Lake is seeking an Administrative Assistant/Assistant Center Director to lead and support a team while delivering Mathnasium instruction in a group setting.

You will assess student progress, communicate with parents, and assist with administrative tasks. The role emphasizes a passion for math, strong people skills, and the ability to balance leadership with teaching.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
• Ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions.
• Communicate student progress with parents and guardians.
• Teach/tutor in‑center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
