Job summary

Mathnasium LLC – Crystal Lake is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant/Assistant Center Director to support our after-school program and in-center operations.

You will lead, coach, and collaborate with team members to deliver Mathnasium-style instruction, monitor student progress, and communicate with parents. The role offers advancement opportunities, flexible scheduling, and a positive, supportive work culture.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
• Ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and collaborate with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions.
• Communicate student progress with parents and guardians.
• Teach/tutor in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
• Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
