Mathnasium of Crystal Lake is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support instructors and center operations. You will lead, assist, and collaborate with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting, coordinate schedules, and communicate progress to families using the Mathnasium Method.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
• Ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities.
• Math literacy test, work authorization, and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and collaborate with team members to deliver instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement during sessions.
• Communicate student progress with parents and guardians.
• Teach/tutor in‑center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
• Support maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
