Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a Patient Care Technician (CNA) for the Mom & Baby unit at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT. The role blends patient care delivery with Health Unit Coordinator duties on a rotating 36-hour week schedule.

Starting pay $18.40+ per hour with shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. Benefits include health, vision, dental, 401(k), and education assistance. Prior CNA hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Utah or complete a recent CNA training program and obtain certification within 120 days of hire.
• BLS for healthcare providers required.
• Written and verbal communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care (toileting, bathing, linen changes, mobility) with excellent patient service.
• Document patient care findings timely and communicate changes to RN.
• Transport medications to the RN and assist on the unit as needed.
• May perform Health Unit Coordinator duties (phones, orders, unit records) as assigned.
