Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• AHA Basic Life Support required.
• One year experience as a PCT or comparable acute care position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in patient care by performing tasks per scope of service as directed by the RN.
• Assists with admissions, transfers, discharges, and transport of patients.
• Obtains and records vital signs and reports abnormalities to the primary nurse.
• Performs additional tasks including CPR support and assisting with procedures as needed.
