Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse leader to oversee maternal care services, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements and leading quality improvement efforts across the Maternity program.

You will coordinate interdisciplinary strategies with the Maternity Medical Director, drive QAPI activities, and develop policies to enhance patient outcomes while supporting staff education and competency.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• ACLS certification required.
• BCLS certification required.
• Neonatal resuscitation training preferred.
• C-EFM certification required.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maternal patient care from admission through discharge, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Maternity Medical Director and clinical leaders to update policies and ensure staff competency.
• Lead and participate in the maternal QAPI program with data-driven outcomes.
• Provide leadership for performance improvement activities in the maternity care program.
• Develop collaborative relationships with other facilities within the Perinatal Care Region.
• Support the organization’s mission, vision, and nursing practice standards.
