Clinical Management Consultants seeks an accomplished maternal-child health leader for the Nurse Manager of Mother/Baby role at a major acute care hospital serving a diverse patient population in Southern California.

The incumbent will oversee postpartum, maternity, and newborn nursing operations, drive staffing, workflow, quality, and patient safety, and partner with physicians and nursing leadership to translate organizational priorities into unit-level action.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maternal and newborn nursing operations across postpartum, maternity, and newborn care.
• Lead staffing oversight, workflow coordination, and daily clinical operations with a focus on quality and patient safety.
• Partner with physicians and nursing leadership to align resources with patient needs and address operational barriers.
• Mentor emerging leaders and strengthen practice standards within a culture of clinician autonomy.
