Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer to join one of our MFM clinics. You will perform detailed fetal anatomical surveys, assist with procedures, and document findings.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited sonography program with a degree in ultrasonography or equivalent.
• Maintain or be eligible for ARDMS certification.
• ARDMS OB/GYN or Fetal Echo certification or eligibility within 12 months of hire.
• Evidence of continuing education credits to fulfill accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed fetal anatomical surveys, including twins and triplets.
• Assist physicians with procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling.
• Document exam findings, measurements, images and procedural details.
• Record patient history, indications, and pertinent observations.
• Generate preliminary reports for physician review and final signature.
• Review studies with interpreting physicians to communicate findings.
