Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Sonography.
  • 1–5 years experience in MFM practice preferred.
  • ARDMS registered or registry eligible; new grads must obtain within 24 months.
  • Fetal Nuchal Translucency certification preferred.
  • Fetal Echocardiogram certification preferred.
  • Cervical Length education preferred.
  • Knowledge of AIUM Accreditation standards preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging under the direction of MFM program providers.
  • Maintain thorough understanding of equipment and its appropriate use.
  • Comply with ARDMS and AIUM standards and guidelines.

About this position

The MFM Sonographer performs diagnostic ultrasound imaging and procedures under the direction of the MFM program providers and physician director of ultrasound. The MFM Sonographer has a thorough understanding of the equipment and its appropriate use.

Requirements
Education
  • • Graduate of an accredited program in Sonography.
Experience
  • • 1-5 years previous experience in MFM practice strongly preferred.
  • • Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). New graduates need to obtain within 24 months of hire.
  • • Fetal Nuchal Translucency Certification, preferred
  • • Fetal Echocardiogram Certification, preferred
  • • Cervical Length Education and Review (CLEAR), preferred
  • • Knowledge of AIUM Accreditation standards, preferred
Licensure/Certification
  • • ARDMS Registered or Registry Eligible; new graduates need to obtain within 24 months of hire
  • • BLS Certification

Salary Range:B23 ($39.83 - $59.74), based on experience

Shift Differential: Compensation may include shift differential pay depending on the position and shift worked.

Sign-On Bonus: Eligible for up to $10,000 bonus. Bonus is prorated based on FTE.
