UBMD Obstetrics & Gynecology in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Maternal-Fetal Medicine team. The RN collaborates with physicians, advanced practice providers, sonographers, and the healthcare team to ensure safe, timely, and patient-centered care across pregnancy.

This full-time onsite role encompasses clinical triage, patient assessment, education, care coordination, and follow-up of tests and treatment plans, with a focus on high-quality maternity care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Holds a current New York State Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience, preferably outpatient.
• Obstetric/maternal-child health or related MFM experience preferred.
• Strong communication, patient education, and care coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates nursing care for patients receiving Maternal-Fetal Medicine services.
• Performs clinical triage of patient calls and messages related to pregnancy.
• Coordinates timely physician evaluation and appropriate levels of care.
• Provides follow-up on patient concerns, referrals, and test results.
• Maintains patient records and documents assessments and plans of care.
• Administers medications and treatments as ordered and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Performs venipuncture and specimen collection for labs.
• Escalates clinical concerns as needed.
• Coordinates referrals to specialists and support services.
