Position Details

- The Medical Director will provide Physician leadership and oversight for our Maternal Fetal Medicine Service Line, collaborating with the Administrative & Clinical Director for Women's & Children's Services in a dyad relationship alongside OB/GYN Medical Directors for Grand Rapids and the Lakeshore.
- This leadership role offers the opportunity to shape and enhance our Maternal Fetal program within a mission-driven organization dedicated to making a lasting community impact.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Clinical Leadership: Oversee and lead the Maternal Fetal Medicine service line, ensuring high-quality care for complex maternal-fetal cases.
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for high-risk pregnancies, including diagnostic, consultative, and management services. Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, and specialists to ensure coordinated care.
- Program Development: Work with administrative and clinical leaders to develop and improve the Maternal Fetal Medicine program. The Medical Director will be responsible for the assigned offices and programs in West Michigan, focusing on Quality, Service Excellence, Colleague Engagement, Stewardship, and financial goals.
- Education and Mentorship: Offer guidance and mentorship to medical students and residents.

Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of Maternal Fetal Medicine medical practice experience (excluding training)
- 2+ years of leadership experience or specialized training relevant to the role is highly preferred
