Position Details:

• Patient Population: High-risk obstetric patients
• Setting: Combination of inpatient and outpatient
• Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialized care in Maternal Fetal Medicine managing high-risk pregnancies and fetal complications.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Obstetricians, Neonatologists, and other specialists.
  • Serve as a regional physician providing services primarily in Grand Rapids with occasional travel to Muskegon.
  • Educate and train medical students and residents.
  • Perform various gynecologic and obstetric procedures.
• Required Procedures:
  • Prenatal and high-risk obstetrics care
  • On-site ultrasounds
  • Pelvic reconstruction procedures
  • Robotic-assisted surgical services, including da Vinci Surgical System procedures
• EMR System: Not specified
• Support Staff: Assigned MA, Sonographer, and additional staff at all offices
• Days Per Month: Full-time schedule (Mon - Fri)
• On-Call/Weekends: Limited, primarily phone-based
