Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Texas.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current national board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (AANP/ANCC).
• Current DEA license.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to use outpatient and inpatient EMR systems for data entry and retrieval.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history and perform assessments via observation, interview, and examination.
• Provide quality care and conduct diagnostic testing per evidence-based guidelines.
• Participate in quality assurance audits and provide real-time feedback to improve care.
• Perform admission histories and physicals and conduct daily hospital rounds.
• Document progress notes, write orders, and support fetal surgery planning.
• Order and interpret laboratory studies and discharge planning with patient education.
