Job summary

Schlumberger Limited in Bartlesville, Oklahoma seeks an experienced Materials Manager to supervise end-to-end warehousing operations, ensuring material availability, governance, and cost control. You will lead a large workforce, maintain service levels, and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires strong leadership, SAP proficiency, and Lean implementation skills. You will shape warehouse performance, collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, and deliver disciplined execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in materials management, warehousing, inventory control, or supply chain leadership.
• Experience supporting ALS and ESP operations is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading large teams, including unionized workforces in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency with SAP and warehouse reporting or KPI management tools.
• Practical experience applying Lean principles, 5S, root-cause analysis, standard work, and visual management techniques.
• Strong conflict-resolution, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Knowledge of HSE management processes and risk assessment practices.
• Must be legally authorized to work and reside in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse operations, personnel, and resources to support business requirements.
• Develop and implement warehouse strategies that optimize material flow, storage utilization, and service delivery.
• Manage inventory performance, including stock value, days sales of inventory on hand (DSOH), cycle counting, and slow-moving materials.
• Direct and support warehouse supervisors, fostering accountability, workforce engagement, and capability development.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, inventory controls, and warehouse management system requirements.
• Evaluate operational performance through KPIs and reporting tools, driving actions to improve productivity and cost efficiency.
• Oversee third-party warehousing relationships and monitor service performance against expectations where applicable.
• Resolve operational issues and support sustainable process improvements using established continuous improvement methodologies.
