Job summary

Atlantic Testing Laboratories, Limited is seeking an entry-level Intern or Co-op in engineering/construction materials. You will perform materials testing and inspection at construction sites and in our laboratories following ASTM or other procedures.

Training and certification are provided prior to independent assignments. Approximately 80 percent of your time will be spent on active construction sites providing QC/QA sampling, monitoring, and inspection, with the remainder in the lab

Qualifications

• Entry-level position as an Intern or Co-op in engineering/construction materials.
• Training and certification provided prior to independent assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction materials testing and inspection at construction sites and laboratories according to ASTM or other applicable procedures.
• Test soil, aggregate, concrete, bituminous, and masonry construction materials.
• Spend about 80 percent of time at active construction sites providing QC/QA sampling, monitoring, and inspection.
• Remainder of time in the laboratory conducting standardized tests and documenting field and laboratory testing.
