Job summary

Atlantic Testing Laboratories, Limited is seeking an entry-level Intern or Co-op in engineering/construction materials. You will perform testing of soil, aggregate, concrete, bituminous, and masonry materials at construction sites and in our laboratories, following ASTM procedures.

Training and certification are provided before independent assignments, with about 80% of time spent on active sites for QA sampling and inspection.

Qualifications

• Entry-level internship or co-op in engineering/construction materials.
• Willing to work at construction sites and in laboratories.
• Training and certification provided prior to independent assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing of soil, aggregate, concrete, bituminous and masonry materials.
• Assist on construction sites for quality control/QA sampling, monitoring and inspection.
• Document field and laboratory testing to verify conformance with project specifications.
