Job summary

Atlantic Testing Laboratories, Limited in New York seeks an entry‑level Intern/Co‑op in engineering/construction materials. You will assist with field sampling and laboratory testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, bituminous and masonry materials, following ASTM procedures.

Approximately 80% of time is spent at active construction sites performing QC/QA sampling and inspections; the remainder is in the laboratory conducting standardized tests and documenting results. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Entry-level internship/co-op in engineering/construction materials.
• Familiarity with field sampling and laboratory testing procedures.
• Knowledge of ASTM standards or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction materials testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, bituminous, and masonry materials.
• Spend ~80% of time on active construction sites for QC/QA sampling and inspections.
• Remain time in laboratories conducting standardized tests and documenting results.
