You will generate data to support simulations and product development, and analyze complex datasets for reliability insights.

You will mentor technicians, document findings, and present recommendations to stakeholders, with travel up to 10% across the United States.

Qualifications

• BS in Materials Science or Engineering with supplemental knowledge in material science.
• 2-5+ years engineering experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with product development processes.
• Good understanding of statistical methods, data visualization, and analysis tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute advanced material and component testing methods to evaluate performance under mechanical loading and environmental conditions.
• Generate high-quality material characterization data to support engineering simulations and product development.
• Analyze complex experimental datasets to identify material behaviors and reliability characteristics.
• Collaborate with technicians to collect and validate measurement data using advanced testing methods.
• Plan and conduct laboratory and field-based investigations to assess short-term and long-term material performance.
• Document test results and communicate engineering findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
