Job summary

Entegris, Inc. in Chaska, MN is seeking a Senior Mechanical Test Engineer to support product engineers and sales teams by providing test data and analysis. You will develop and validate test methods, design/maintain lab fixtures, and present findings to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Science or Engineering required; Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years of engineering or R&D experience.
• Experience in data acquisition programming, motion control, instrumentation, semiconductor industry, cleanroom, particle technology, thermal/fluid science, polymer science, lab safety, statistical data analysis, and shock/vibration data acquisition/analysis.
• Creative thinker with problem-solving skills and ability to develop new test protocols.
• High degree of mechanical aptitude; strong data analysis skills with Excel and Minitab or JMP.
• Creo and/or SOLIDWORKS experience a plus; ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills across all management levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate characterization and analysis of wafer and reticle handling products using laboratory equipment.
• Work on product development teams and manage test projects.
• Develop new, robust test methods with focus on reliability.
• Design, build, repair and maintain laboratory equipment, data acquisition systems and test fixtures.
• Analyze test data, write test reports, and present findings to teams and management.
