Job summary

Pelletron Corporation in Lancaster, PA seeks a Test Lab Engineer to test and evaluate equipment performance for customer materials and internal products. You will document results, support R&D efforts on new products and quality investigations, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to advance Pelletron's technical offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with coursework in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, mechanics and machine design.
• Experience with testing and lab data collection using electronic instrumentation.
• Familiarity with bulk solids handling and pneumatic conveying.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing to confirm performance of Pelletron equipment on customer materials.
• Physically evaluate samples for particle size, debris, bulk density, and angle of repose per standards.
• Set up equipment, determine operating conditions, test and evaluate results for capacity or cleaning performance.
• Design, setup, test, and evaluate custom lab equipment for R&D and new product development.
• Document all testing with accurate, detailed technical reports.
