Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Basic math and ability to read drawings and quality documents.
• Ability to read work instructions and quality documents and use this information to produce quality material.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Use metallurgical testing equipment to validate conformance of product to standards (tensile, twist, metallography, Eddy Current).
• Safely operate metal-forming machines with other operators as needed.
• Handle hazardous chemicals with PPE and safety guidelines.
• Use tools and routing instructions to fabricate high quality materials.
• Work with Production Control and other departments to meet on-time deliveries.
• Follow shop orders and processes, reporting non-conformances to supervisors or engineers.
• Strive to improve processes, equipment efficiency, and quality.
• Train and operate various mill equipment as assigned by supervision.
