Job summary

Overlake in Bellevue, WA is hiring a Materials Technician responsible for storage and distribution of general, medical, and surgical supplies. You will stock and count items, maintain par levels, and record movements in MMIS while interfacing with staff to meet their needs.

The role runs full-time, day shift (6am-2:30pm), Monday through Friday with rotating weekends, and requires a High School diploma and a WA driver’s license. Benefits and pay are competitive.

Qualifications

• Valid WA Driver’s license required.
• Six months prior materials management experience within a healthcare institution preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in the English language.
• Frequent periods of walking, lifting, and standing; work in a clean, climate-controlled environment.

Job Posting

Responsible for the workflow processes involved in the storage and distribution of general, medical, and surgical supplies and equipment, including the stocking, counting, and distributing of supplies, and recording the movement of supplies in and out of inventories using the materials management information system (MMIS). The Materials Technician is assigned to several units and is responsible for restocking supply carts, adjusting the mix of supply items and par levels. Also interacts continually and effectively with the staff, responding to and anticipating their needs in a timely manner, and giving updates on new supply items.

Full Time / Day Shift

Schedule: 6am-2:30pm

M-F, rotating weekends

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
