Job summary

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Materials Technician to manage the workflow for storage and distribution of general, medical, and surgical supplies. You will stock, count, distribute items, and record movements in the MMIS, rotating through several units and restocking carts while coordinating with staff to anticipate needs.

This full-time day shift (6am-2:30pm, M-F with rotating weekends) offers hourly pay from $24.49 to $36.74, along with benefits such as tuition

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Valid WA Driver’s license required.
• Six months prior materials management experience within a healthcare institution preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in the English language.
• Frequent periods of walking, lifting, and standing. Work is performed in a clean, climate-controlled, well-lit environment.

Job Posting

Responsible for the workflow processes involved in the storage and distribution of general, medical, and surgical supplies and equipment, including the stocking, counting, and distributing of supplies, and recording the movement of supplies in and out of inventories using the materials management information system (MMIS). The Materials Technician is assigned to several units and is responsible for restocking supply carts, adjusting the mix of supply items and par levels. Also interacts continually and effectively with the staff, responding to and anticipating their needs in a timely manner, and giving updates on new supply items.

Full Time / Day Shift

Schedule: 6am-2:30pm

M-F, rotating weekends
