Job summary

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Materials Technician to manage the workflow for storage and distribution of general, medical, and surgical supplies. You will stock, count, distribute items, and record movements in the MMIS, rotating through several units and restocking carts while coordinating with staff to anticipate needs.

This full-time day shift (6am-2:30pm, M-F with rotating weekends) offers hourly pay from $24.49 to $36.74, along with benefits such as tuition

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Valid WA Driver’s license required.
• Six months prior materials management experience within a healthcare institution preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in the English language.
• Frequent periods of walking, lifting, and standing. Work is performed in a clean, climate-controlled, well-lit environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for workflow processes involved in the storage and distribution of general, medical, and surgical supplies and equipment, including stocking, counting, distributing supplies, and recording movements in MMIS.
• Restock supply carts and adjust the mix of supply items and par levels across assigned units.
• Interact with staff, respond to needs in a timely manner, and provide updates on new supply items.
