Job summary

Power Solutions International is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Wood Dale, IL to perform general warehouse duties, load/unload trucks, and move materials to production areas. You will prepare orders for shipment and maintain accurate inventory to support timely production flow.

Responsibilities include operating cranes, forklifts, and pallet jacks safely, inspecting inventory, and using RF scanners/ERP systems. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and lifting up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, comprehend and convert manuals/diagrams into work.
• Experience operating cranes, lift trucks and other warehouse equipment.
• Experience with RF scanners/ERP systems (Epicor) preferred.
• Able to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move materials within the warehouse and production facility.
• Receive, store, and move materials to production area and prepare orders for shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely material flow to production.
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks per safety regulations.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment and follow OSHA procedures.

With scalable production capacity and disciplined program management, PSI delivers repeatable quality and reliable performance on complex builds for mission-critical and industrial applications worldwide.SHIFT: Monday - Thursday from 5:30AM - 4:00PMPosition Summary:Performs general warehouse work, including loading and unloading of trucks and movement of material within the warehouse or production facility. Work includes receiving, storing, and moving materials to the production area as well as preparing orders for shipment, maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring that the material flow to production is timely and accurately transacted.Essential Responsibilities:With proper company certifications, safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to safely and efficiently move inventory and materials of various dimensions around the warehouse and production facility per safety regulations such as those administered by OSHAInspect incoming inventory and equipment for quality before storing or rerouting. Identify damaged, lost or missing merchandise and notify the supervisor immediatelyProcesses appropriate inventory control records and cycle counts, maintaining accuracy using RF Scanners or ERP system (Epicor) as needed.Transport finished products and materials to the shipping area and prepare for safe shipmentMaintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, storage areas and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping, receiving, and supply areas; complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsEnsure that power vehicles are in proper working order by conducting required pre-trip inspections per checklistAs needed, lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds of materials to assist in production.
