Job summary

Power Solutions International is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support inbound/outbound material movement, inventory control, and order preparation in our Wood Dale facility. You will operate forklifts, cranes, and RF scanners, ensuring accuracy and safety.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, basic math, and the ability to read diagrams. Training for Lift Truck certification is provided on-site; bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience including the ability to apply math and read diagrams.
• Experience safely operating cranes, lift trucks, and other warehouse equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to obtain Lift Truck certification through on-site PSI training.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Inspect incoming inventory and equipment for quality; reroute as needed.
• Process inventory records and cycle counts; use RF scanners or ERP (Epicor) as required.
• Transport finished products to shipping; prepare for safe shipment.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas; follow safety procedures and regulations.
• Perform pre-trip inspections on powered vehicles; assist with lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

With scalable production capacity and disciplined program management, PSI delivers repeatable quality and reliable performance on complex builds for mission-critical and industrial applications worldwide.SHIFT: Monday- Friday from 7:30AM-4:00PMPosition Summary:Performs general warehouse work, including loading and unloading of trucks and movement of material within the warehouse or production facility. Work includes receiving, storing, and moving materials to the production area as well as preparing orders for shipment, maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring that the material flow to production is timely and accurately transacted.Essential Responsibilities:With proper company certifications, safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to safely and efficiently move inventory and materials of various dimensions around the warehouse and production facility per safety regulations such as those administered by OSHAInspect incoming inventory and equipment for quality before storing or rerouting. Identify damaged, lost or missing merchandise and notify the supervisor immediatelyProcesses appropriate inventory control records and cycle counts, maintaining accuracy using RF Scanners or ERP system (Epicor) as needed.Transport finished products and materials to the shipping area and prepare for safe shipmentMaintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, storage areas and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping, receiving, and supply areas; complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsEnsure that power vehicles are in proper working order by conducting required pre-trip inspections per checklistAs needed, lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds of materials to assist in production.
