Job summary

JLG, an Oshkosh company, seeks a Principal Materials & Systems Lead to drive lean material flow across manufacturing and warehousing networks. You will shape planning processes, collaborate with GPSC and SIOP teams, and develop next‑gen leadership within Materials Management.

You will implement sustainable improvements, lead continuous improvement projects, and ensure inventory accuracy and optimal levels across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with eight (8) or more years of experience within in Supply Chain, Materials, or a related field.
• OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement by engaging with segment business leaders to drive compliance with the material flow strategy.
• Maintain the MRP report card: inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, inventory levels, E&O reduction.
• Resolve problems using analytical abilities and experience.
• Lead lean material flow projects to synchronize consumption with production and optimize material flow routes.
• Drive reductions in excess material handling through value stream analysis and solutions.
• Lead initiatives to implement sustainable process improvements aligned with material flow strategy.
• Execute material flow with PFEP, Kanban, Pull, MRP and supplier alignment.
• Utilize ERP to create planning reports for management, production and material teams.
