Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation, Inc. is seeking a Materials Analyst to advance lean material flow initiatives across the supply chain.

You will lead cross-functional projects, optimize PFEP and ERP configurations, and partner with planning, procurement and production teams to reduce landed costs. In this role, you will forecast demand, analyze ERP data, and drive improvements in inventory accuracy, scheduling, and material presentation to the point of use, while supporting change management and KPI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Materials, or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or 9+ years of applicable experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives to reduce supply chain costs.
• Experience updating ERP parameters and PFEP processes.
• Experience with PFEP, WMS, inventory control, production scheduling.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives to reduce costs in the supply chain by removing wastes.
• Lead project teams through to completion with KPI targets and executive status reports.
• Support standardization, advancement and implementation of a lean enterprise material flow strategy (PFEP, PFEP-based processes).
• Update critical ERP system parameters to align with optimal material strategy in conjunction with PFEP.
• Compile data from ERP systems and spreadsheets to support decision-making.
• Forecast workload based on demand projections.
• Leverage shop-floor lean material flow experience to synchronize material consumption with production.
• Significantly reduce excess material handling between facilities and with suppliers.
