Job summary

AM General is seeking an Inventory Control professional to join our office and manufacturing environment. You will use SAP to manage purchase requisitions, track counts, investigate discrepancies, and collaborate with the Inventory Control team to improve accuracy.

Responsibilities include production order and routing maintenance, data analysis, and supporting change management. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, 2–5 years' experience, and strong communication skills; Solumina and MS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2-5 years' experience.
• Strong organizational skills, knowledge of MS Office Products, and Solumina preferred.
• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbal and written and be able to work independently.
• Good problem-solving skills, extensive SAP experience, and the ability to multitask are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use SAP to create Purchase Requisitions.
• Change Management and Tracking Support - Engineering Change, Supplier Process Change, Supplier Resource Change.
• Analyze count data and investigate root causes for inventory discrepancies. This may include researching transaction history, material master set up, and asking questions out on the production floor.
• Production order and Routing maintenance as it pertains to inventory
• Monitor ZEWM, correct issues, and clear errors.
• Drive for continual improvement of processes to maintain optimal inventory accuracy.
• Work closely with Inventory Control team
