Job summary

Stemmle Plumbing Repair Inc. is seeking a dependable Materials Coordinator to support field technicians by ensuring the materials, equipment, and supplies needed to complete jobs.

This role focuses on efficient warehouse operations, accurate inventory, and timely deliveries to job sites in Newport News, VA. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, basic computer skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with forklift experience preferred

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in warehouse, inventory, plumbing, HVAC, or construction materials preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus (training available if needed).
• Basic computer skills and strong organizational abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials and supplies.
• Pull and stage materials for scheduled service calls and construction projects.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with cycle counts.
• Coordinate the delivery of materials, tools, and equipment to technicians and job sites.
• Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse.
• Assist with ordering materials and communicating with vendors as directed.
• Load and unload company vehicles and vendor deliveries.
• Verify packing slips and report shortages or damaged materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management when replenishment is needed.
• Assist technicians with locating parts and materials.
• Maintain proper storage of tools, equipment, and inventory.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other warehouse and operational duties as assigned.
