Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division in Sumter, SC seeks a Materials Supervisor to ensure the supply chain team has the information and materials needed to maximize customer service. The role collaborates across departments to balance inventory costs and freight while driving supplier performance metrics.

The position offers relocation assistance for U.S.-based candidates and a salary range of $97,000 to $143,000 annually, with eligibility for a variable incentive program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or HS diploma with 5+ years in Materials Planning or SCM.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or a combination thereof.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position.

Responsibilities

• Drive materials improvements through Lean processes to enhance reliability, delivery, inventory accuracy.
• Monitor purchased part inventory transactions and seek improvements.
• Obtain information from SIOP for material planning and forecasting.
• Evaluate existing procedures and activities within the Supply Chain to identify improvements.
• Proficient in ERP procurement planning systems and Lean methodologies.
• Analyze ERP reports and maintain planning parameters in MAPICs.
• Adhere to standard processes set by site leadership and divisional strategies.
• Own buyer performance including PO placement, expediting, inventory, and invoice resolution.
• Improve automated processes to maximize information and material flow to support plant goals.
• Provide coaching and development to employees to sustain improvement.
