Job summary

Avancez Assembly is seeking a Material Supervisor to manage material plans and support production forecasts at the Fort Wayne plant in Roanoke, Indiana. The role emphasizes floor-level involvement and ensuring steady material flow to meet inventory targets.

Responsibilities include optimizing BOMs, coordinating with multiple teams, and driving continuous improvement in material systems. Strong ERP and Kanban experience plus a Bachelor’s degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Materials Management or Supply Chain preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Finance, or Business Admin, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with ERP and Kanban systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage material plans to ensure orderly launches and support build plans.
• Control inventory to optimize consumption and minimize obsolescence.
• Identify issues/exceptions and propose solutions to keep production flowing.
• Audits of BOMs and feedback on potential critical path materials.
• Ensure accurate cycle counts and material follow-up in systems.
• Coordinate production build requirements to satisfy demand and targets.
