Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a Materials Supervisor in Houston to lead a team focused on stocking levels and inventory goals while meeting production schedules and on-time delivery for customer orders.

You will coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply, Engineering, Planning, and Operations to ensure material availability and timely procurement. Strong Excel, ERP/MRP, and analytical skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, or business management.
• 1–3 years of supervision experience in planning in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of experience in production planning and materials management.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of supply planning, production planning, and scheduling.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background checks.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs+ and sit/stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Builds a process to identify key raw materials with stocking requirements.
• Establishes process to set and maintain min / max targets in the ERP.
• Leads team to ensure material availability to support daily production requirements.
• Develops and maintains KPIs to manage stocking levels and on-time delivery.
• Works with production planning and buying to ensure materials are ordered timely.
• Analyzes daily material status and reports shortages to the team.
• Attends daily production meetings.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams for order planning and fulfillment.
• Mitigates material shortages through escalation.
• Performs RO P sizing activities monthly.
• Coordinates with buyers to ensure materials are available before work orders move to production.
