Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Appleton is seeking a Materials Supervisor (2nd Shift) to lead daily materials operations, coordinating timely delivery of parts and tools for aircraft production and maintenance.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, maintain accurate records, and drive process improvements across warehousing, inventory, and distribution while mentoring a team to deliver high-quality results on a fast-paced shop floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 years experience in materials management, warehousing, inventory control or related operational roles.
• Aviation or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations, including the flow of materials and warehousing activities, to ensure efficient resource allocation and support for maintenance and production.
• Coordinate the timely availability and delivery of materials, tools, and components required for aircraft and component activities.
• Ensure compliance with all corporate, regulatory, and safety requirements (FAA/EASA, import/export, quality, hazmat, and departmental procedures).
• Maintain accurate records and system transactions related to inventory, materials movements, warehousing, and operational activities.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operations support, inventory management, warehousing, and operational efficiency.
• Manage inventory levels, accuracy, and distribution to support maintenance, production, and completion activities.
• Conduct performance reviews, training, and skill development for team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure accurate and meaningful communication flow between leadership and team to ensure alignment.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, quality, and other departments to resolve issues, optimize workflows, and support cross-functional initiatives.
• Monitor and report KPIs, metrics, and trends related to operations support, inventory, warehousing, and team performance.
• Support financial goals, budgeting, and forecasting for materials, warehousing, distribution, tools support related activities.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and investigations to ensure compliance and support continuous improvement in materials, warehousing, distribution, tools support operations.
