Job summary

Breeze Airways is seeking a Lead Material Specialist in the United States to oversee daily warehousing and line material operations. You will manage inventory accuracy, parts issuing, shipping, receiving, and stocking while coordinating with MOC for AOG recovery.

The role requires a strong technical background, TAS/IATA DG training, and the ability to work with multiple departments to ensure regulatory compliance and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Six months in the role of Material Specialist or equivalent experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational achievement.
• Strong technical and analytical background to provide TRAX, Excel, and other reports.
• Valid Driver’s License and driving record meeting Breeze Airways standards.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SIDA badge per TSA requirements.
• Ability to drive company vehicles, trucks, forklifts, and other Ground Service Equipment (GSE).
• Pass Materials and the General Maintenance Manual (GMM) training courses.
• Pass Dangerous Goods (DG) IATA course and maintain recurrent training.
• Pass Dangerous Goods (DG) ground shipping and maintain recurrent training.
• Pass a ten year background check and CHRC.
• Valid Passport with no travel restrictions.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Authorized to work in the US as defined by law.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily material warehousing and Line Material operations.
• Oversee and problem-solve issues with inventory accuracy, parts issuing, shipping, receiving, stocking, material handling.
• Perform data entry into the inventory system for locating, issuing, receiving, shipping of materials.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Operations Control (MOC) for inventory movement, tooling, and AOG recovery.
• Monitor and update stock items, min/max levels, and coordinate adjustments with Maintenance and Purchasing.
• Perform inventory audits, inspections, and reconciliations per GMM.
• Work with Maintenance and Quality on calibrated tooling and shelf-life replacements for monthly regulatory compliance.
• Prepare fleet modification kits with Engineering and Maintenance Planning.
