Job summary

modermachiningsolutions is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to support ERP operations, material handling, packing, and shipping. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, receiving, locating, and issuing materials to production or shipping as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least two years of related experience, with forklift certification and ERP familiarity being a plus. Candidates must be dependable and capable of working in a team in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of related experience.

• Read and write simple correspondence; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform primary and back-up functions in the materials department per schedule.
• Load/unload materials as trucks arrive.
• Receive materials in the ERP system and assign locations.
• Move materials to production and shipping as needed; issue materials to jobs.
• Prepare shipping crates and documents; schedule freight pickups.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment; pursue continuous improvement.
