Job summary

DPI Staffing is hiring a Warehouse and Receiving Specialist to support our customer in the Portland area. This position is based in Portland, OR, with hourly pay and varied shifts. You will handle receiving, inventory, shipping docs, and forklift operations to keep warehouse operations running smoothly.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year in warehouse/shipping/receiving, plus ability to pass a background check and drive a vehicle if needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year warehouse/shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, and electric pallet jack.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming equipment, materials, and supplies at the warehouse.
• Inspect shipments for visible damage and sign delivery receipts as needed.
• Deliver supplies and equipment to designated departments and locations.
• Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate outgoing shipments.
• Maintain receiving records, inventory logs, and storage documentation.
• Communicate with carriers regarding incoming and outgoing deliveries.
• Track surplus equipment and maintain storage location records.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and company vehicles as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Complete daily maintenance logs for warehouse equipment.
