Job summary

Base is seeking a Materials Associate to handle inbound/outbound shipments, maintain clean and organized work areas, and ensure accurate documentation for every order. You will coordinate with production, verify ERP paperwork, and help move materials safely within the warehouse.

The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment while supporting production schedules and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years shipping, receiving, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in warehouse operations or logistics preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50–70 lbs.
• Experience operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks safely.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Able to perform demanding physical tasks for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Process all inbound and outbound shipments and verify counts against paperwork.
• Package, label, and prepare products for shipment; maintain documentation.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials within the warehouse.
• Load/unload trailers, sweep and clean work areas, and maintain safety.
• Perform inventory checks and participate in end-of-month counts.
• Deliver local materials to production areas as needed.
• Participate in daily production meetings and share shipping updates.
