Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Warehouse/Materials Associate to support receiving, stocking, and distribution of supplies within patient care areas. You will operate RF scanners and PC systems to process transactions, verify documents, and maintain secure storage of inventory.

The role emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and adherence to OSHA standards, with potential driver’s license requirements depending on the facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Equivalent and related work experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license may be required depending on facility.

Responsibilities

• Processes transactions accurately and timely as a result of the receiving of physical goods from suppliers, or returned goods from customer departments, stock replenishments or the filling of customer orders.
• Executes transactions inside the management system and uses PC and RF scanner technologies to process transactions accurately.
• Reviews and verifies all documentation used throughout the process for thoroughness and accuracy.
• Operates equipment safely and transports and stores goods securely to prevent damage.
• Supervises receiving and distribution of equipment and supplies.
• Ensures equipment and supplies are handled and stored securely.
• Removes non-functional equipment and supplies from service and reports problems to the proper departments for corrective action.
• Inspects work and storage areas to maintain clean, orderly conditions.
• Follows department, System, OSHA safety regulations and maintains good housekeeping.
• Completes and submits daily inspection checklists when using powered equipment (if required by department).
