Job summary

Advocate Health’s Carolinas Medical Center campus seeks a full-time Receiving/Distribution associate in the Supply Chain department. The role involves processing incoming goods, using RF scanners and the management system to ensure accurate transactions, and supervising the receiving and distribution of equipment and supplies.

Safety and accuracy are emphasized throughout daily operations. Requires a High School Diploma or GED; related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Equivalent and related work experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required in some facilities.

Responsibilities

• Receives, verifies and processes physical goods from suppliers or returns from customer departments.
• Uses PC and RF scanner to process transactions accurately.
• Supervises receiving and distribution of equipment and supplies.
• Ensures safe handling, storage and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
• Completes daily inspection checklists for powered equipment where required.
