Job summary

Cone Health is seeking a Materials Associate in Greensboro, NC to support daily ordering, pulling, receiving, delivering and replenishment of supplies. You will help count inventory, enter data accurately, and check expiration dates to keep inventory usable for patient care.

The role emphasizes receiving and verifying shipments, maintaining par levels, and adhering to PPE and infection control protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Service-related or prior job experience.

Responsibilities

• Accept, verify, and enter receipts for all shipments.
• Count packages and ensure shipments are acceptable; follow refusal protocols if needed.
• Inventory, reorder, pull, restock, rotate stock and check expiration dates.
• Verify inbound receipts, outbound shipments, data entry and restocking within required timeframes.
• Expedite products to departments or storerooms.
• Update par levels and adjust par forms and labels as required.
• Obtain signatures for deliveries; document reasons for non-delivery.
• Maintain inventory accuracy; perform cycle counts and electronic replenishment.
• Keep work area safe, secure equipment, and maintain a clutter-free space.
• Ensure linens are collected and transported per PPE and infection control guidelines.
• Sort and distribute clean/soiled linens to replenish par levels daily.
• Adhere to OSHA and JCAHO environmental and infection control standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
