Shield AI is seeking a Receiving & Incoming Inspection Lead to oversee daily material receiving and inspection activities, supervising receiving associates and inspectors. The role combines hands-on operations with team leadership to ensure timely delivery of conforming materials.

You will partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing to resolve discrepancies and maintain traceability, while improving receiving-to-stock timelines and enforcing quality procedures in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience in receiving, incoming inspection, inventory control, or manufacturing quality.
• Direct supervision of hourly or technical personnel, including coaching and performance management.
• Ability to interpret purchase orders, drawings, specifications, and inspection instructions.
• Experience using ERP systems for receiving, inventory transactions, and material status tracking.
• Knowledge of inspection tools and measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise receiving associates and incoming inspectors, including daily assignments, scheduling, training, and evaluations.
• Oversee receipt, identification, counting, and verification of purchased materials against documents.
• Execute incoming inspection per approved plans and ensure documentation is complete.
• Lead daily reviews of queues, aging material, and production-critical receipts; escalate when needed.
• Maintain safe, audit-ready work area and support continuous improvement.
